To all the beautiful, courageous women who came to the first Shine women's conference:

Thank you so much for making it all it was. We were so overwhelmed with the gorgeous, generous heart that the women of our region came with. It truly was a tremendous privilege to host and be a part of.

One woman said that as she came, she could see people "trickling" into the town hall, and felt like that's exactly what it was - a trickle that will continue to gather momentum and increase, and will enlarge and grow. Yay!

Your generosity astounded the staff at the Tamworth Women's and Children's Refuge. We pulled up with a station wagon (!!!) full of groceries and utensils for all those being accommodated there currently and to come. We told them about the Audrey Hepburn chest, that it was our way of letting them know whatever circumstance you currently find yourself, you are beautiful, loved, valued, and the women of this region believe in you.

Women were spoiled, loved, refreshed, and set free at Shine 2011. Hang on to your garters girls, this is just the beginning! Registrations are already available for 19&20 October, so get them in. Remember, if you're not at the Stormwater Conference in Melbourne, or the Tambourine Mountain Scarecrow Festival, you have no reason no to be there! Grab some friends and lock it in.
