So, (drumroll please), we are heading back to the Town Hall. The centre of town. We are believing for people to walk past and decide to "come and see". This means that we have to make some adjustments, but to be frank with you all - let's face it I don't know how else to be - I said to the team "I don't care if its us and an accoustic guitar, and its rough and raw. We are meeting there to worship Jesus and I believe He is going to do something awesome among us".

I do. I really do. Shine Conference has the sound of revival on it, and so I'm expectant that the hunger we felt in the room last year is not our goal, it is the launch pad that we are springing from into what God is doing.

Dear Shine friends,

At Shine 2025 something happened that left me in wonder.

From the very first song, the hunger in the room of women was tangible. I could palpably feel the eagerness with which women had decided that they were going to meet with God. It wasn't the design (though that was SO lovely). It wasn't the opener (though - beautiful), it was them and their Saviour. They were pressing in for something beyond aesthetics, and they didn't need to warm up; they were READY.

Last year, we reached capacity in our building. We had moved from the Town Hall to The Chapel on Anne Street because the building was large enough to accommodate those who were gathering. God originally, in 2009, had said the words "interdenominational women's conference, Town Hall", so I had reservations about moving it to the church, but we had peace, so we did it. It was a great move! As Ps Phyl Nicholls from Quirindi said, "thank you for moving it to The Chapel. It was so much more comfortable on the carpet instead of the floorboards when I wanted to spend time with God!" However, if we can't fit everyone that God is calling to gather, that is unacceptable to us!

In 2023, a prophetic word was declared at Shine Conference.

One was for the conference, and one was for me. It was that Shine Conference was actually in its infancy (which after 12 years at the time was unexpected), and the other was that there were more mountains to be climbed (having just been through one of the hardest years of my life, that was also unexpected). The truth is that in this adventurous faith life, there are always more mountains to be climbed, more ground to be gained, more weight to be thrown off, new heights to ascend.

The Word declares in Psalm 84 that blessed are those whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. They go from strength to strength, from glory to glory. The Shine journey is one of upward glory. We rest in Him, even as we press into all He wants to do in us and through us.

Jenny Gilpin

We are thrilled to have Jenny Gilpin joining us again this year. She spoke powerfully into the lives of the women who attended Shine -Bloom last year and we know that she is going to bring another powerful and prophetic message.

She is a prophetic gift to the church and, with her husband, led a significant church based in the United Kingdom for 29 years. She itinerates with a mission to deliver women from their past with the power of heaven!

Born into this world under terrible circumstances, Jen has always been chased by rejection and loneliness. With an overcoming spirit, she not only rose above it, but created a ministry for women with life controlling issues that led to a ministry for the recovery of thousands of human slavery survivors in the UK. With 14 safe houses across the British Isles as well as programs in Scotland, Holland and Ghana, this ministry changed forever the lives of many.

When Jen speaks, it can only be described as mesmerising. Her clarity, dignity and authenticity against the backdrop of her unique history creates a place where the presence of God not only dwells but proceeds to break open hearts that have bern wanting to be opened for years.

Her prophetic gift mixed with word of knowledge is both sharp and tender.

She looks forward to being with you all once again.

Parking around the Town Hall is now 1hr metered until 6pm Friday and from 8:30 -12:30 Saturday. There is paid parking available at either Centerpoint or Tamworth Square or Free Parking within a walkable distance at either the Wither Street Carpark, Ray Walsh Carpark as well as others. Please check the Tamworth council website for more information.

At Shine Kids your child will encounter a fun, safe environment while being cared for by nurturing, experienced leaders.

Kids will have the opportunity to discover that God loves them and wants to speak to them about the amazing plans He has for them. The program includes praise and worship, games and learning from the Bible.

Shine Kids sessions run in conjunction with all conference sessions. Shine Kids is available for children aged 3 years (and toilet trained) to 12 years old.

Registrations must be completed by Sunday 16 August 2026 as places are limited.

Tickets include full access to Shine, Morning Tea, Sweet treats, gifts and more. Once you purchase your ticket, be sure to save the confirmation email so we can scan you in at the front door for entry.
